Sit em down, tell them while it is nice they offer you their assistance, you are a single mother who needs to be doing some of these things on your own. I dont know why you are a single mom (divorce, b/f got you preg and left, whatever) but tell them control was taken from you once and you would like to have some back. Tell them their advice is always welcome but you need to run your own life
